Some old paintings (not working, no longer of interest, etc.) were torn off stretcher bars.
They were immediately more interesting and I recaptured valuable studio space
The stretcher bars became a view finder.
And now I read Susan Sorrell's post today on The Sketchbook Challenge blog. Limiting the view is refreshing.
