The truth is when I saw this over at Heather's blog, it made me indescribably happy. She and Seth cooked up a blog train of pictures of stacks of happiness, dubbed "Stackaholic" by Seth. The Internet is a grand old thingamajig, indeed.
I could get romantic here about the sun slanting in and perching on the paper, etc. Oh, the sappy heights that could be scaled there. I'll spare you that bit of melodrama.
This gave me a chuckle last night while reviewing some recent studio snaps of my "stacks." More scattered than stacked.
There, that's a bit better. My growing pile of wearable books.
It is a most wonderful state: the sloppy pile of tattered, rustly magic.
love your neatness!! what I really want is to look at all the Wearable books. where will you wear them?

You are definitely a member of the stackoholics. So glad you decided to join in the project.

Its not a proper stack unless there is a cat in it! Mine tends to be black and white, with the odd bit of brightly coloured paint to enhance his good looks, but he wears the same expression as yours - those stacks are created for his use, not mine! And if he doesn't like the layout, he shuffles things around to suit his taste. I can tell the rejects - they have teethmarks in them, lol!

Ha! I love a black and white cat (especially with extra dabs:) My Inca used to bite paper. I felt it added a little somethin-somethin. Thanks for commenting, Caroline! I enjoyed that

Im not sure yet, Lyle. They are still in an unformed state. Im looking forward to working more with the idea of sacred books. Well see what evolves ...

Fabric would be just as beautiful, wouldnt it. Stacks of anything beautiful. Stacks of cookies, stacks of books. oooo ... stacks of scarves!
