A journal page for you to print out and finish.
After reading your responses to the Self-Care post, I wonder... how do you think we can slowly change our ways and give better messages to our daughters?
So for your journaling enjoyment, here is a journal page for you to download and print. There is space to write and finish in anyway that you'd like. Perhaps on the topic of self-care? Write, color with markers, tear into pieces and glue back together.
PS: the word "bloom" at the side is from one of Keri Smith's books.
Thank you Diana, just stopped for few minutes from being a domestic engineer...lol! What a great post and self care is so important and it is not stressed enough. I see so many women of all ages being stressed out and their bodies are in pain, plus spirits are sapped dry. As a massage therapist, I tell all my clients to embrace limitations, you can't have it all or do it all. Also, to say no thank you, do not disturb & take sabbaticals from all that distracts one's peace. I know it is easier said than done, but in slow deliberate increments we can regain our lives. Art journaling is a life line to reconnect with one's soul. Your web, your book and your gracious sharing really inspire and help all of us to stop, paint, and doodle.

Domestic engineer, indeed! lol. Slow and deliberate is the best way to make changes. Ive learned to embrace my limitations over the last couple of years and it has been difficult. I spent so many years working really hard and not paying attention to what my body was telling me. Ive taken to scheduling days off in my calendar and sticking to them. And, yes, you can have it all - just not all at the same time. You are in NE Philly?! Im in Glenside!
