There is much to be said about aprons.
Icons of blissful domesticity or suppressed women. I used these old icons as curtains.
I like art: Make*Write*Teach
Great idea. I had seen tea towels used on windows before but never the aprons. Very creative:)

They were certainly easy to hang! I like the 50's look. Thanks Nancy

one of my daughters has taken a pegged wooden rack & mounted to her kitchen wall and
has displayed all of her antique aprons, red is the color found in each of them....
it triggers lots of memories for me & her guests!
kitchen curtains, a brillant idea!

What a lovely idea. That sounds like a great way to show the aprons off. Thanks Holly!

When I was a newlywed, at age 18, I made a turquoise gingham check apron, fashioned after the one that Cinderella wore in the Disney movie! Oh, boy, where was my prince? Actually, we were married for 33 years, then I finally decided it wasn't going to get better. But I did like my apron.

Married at 18! Holy cr*p. I can't even imagine, Jacque. We are still children at 18. I like your story, thanks for sharing it.
