If I sewed and glued all of these pieces of paper together, how big would the resulting paper be?

Well, here's one that I finished

Love it! Van Gogh was the very first thing that popped into my head...

Sgraffito is so much fun! So effective! With kids in my class, we used to cover the crayon with tempera paint mixed from powder with water and just a little detergent so it would cover the crayon . . . very satisfying and not quite as messy as having lots of greasy crayon shavings!

Hey, that is a cool idea, Wendy. Do you then draw into it after the tempera is dried?

Oh yes, I see it Jen!

Yes, because tempera is powdery it scratches off quite easiy as I recall . . . It's quite a while since I've done it with kids so maybe an experiment with the granddaughters is called for.
And your paper stash, I think you could sew it all together and create a tent!

How big did that page end up being?! Love to stitch random bits to create journal pages!

Yes, I will try that. It sounds like a good kid thing. I have my summer programs for kids coming up. A tent is a good idea. I could sleep in there.

It is great fun to stitch bits together! I was just pondering how big the paper would be. I suspect large enough to carpet a few houses
