What would I do? In all honesty? They are so beautiful I would get immobilized by all the choices and possibilities, and leave the store feeling insane. It happens to me all the time.
Though I have to say that I did actually pull myself together recently (you see, I am a sewing newbie) and bought one of those E-Z patterns for a flowing, uneven-edge tank top, and I bought one of the nice batik-looking fabrics just like these.
Of course I haven't made the shirt yet. But at least I bought something! :-)

Beautiful! Can I ask where you got them?

Fabric addition seems to start that way, Jen. I bought these batiks for table toppers for The Wedding and will, sometime, make a quilt for the newleyweds. OK, you've got to tell me the pattern # for the tank top!

Almost any fabric store will have the batik fabrics, Annette. They are very popular and come in tons of different colors. So beautiful!

I can see a flowing long lime green batik fabric skirt. White flowing top and beachy sandals. Beach wrap sounds like a good idea too. I have fabric addiction and it started with drapery material I used for bathroom valances. I decided that I like ALL the drape fabric and it was sooooo cheap, I just bought a 1/2 yard of various kinds. Some of my addictions could use a good group therapy session. lol

I would cut a few small squares of equal size, stitch them together like a simple quilt, and use it as an art journal page ;)

And so be it. I helped my daughter stitch *sort of* a doll quilt when she was a wee.

You painted a lovely picture there, Barb. We should be on the beach right now, sipping rum drinks and watching the twilight take over - *chuckle* I hear ya Those fat quarters were started my addiction. So cheap, so innocuous. Hah!

Diana, as I move away a bit from art quilting, and a bit more toward book arts, I look at my (not-too-huge-but-more-than-the-average-bear) quilting cotton fabric stash and think: Skirts. Two yards makes a fairly full skirt. Add a coordinating T-shirt (maybe one you've embellished with Shiva Painstiks or beading or...), and voila! I even made one recently from 9 quarter-yard cuts (not fat quarters, but quarter yards). Hmmm...maybe I need to blog about this, with photos.

Oh Batik skirts would be lovely. I wonder if the fabric is a bit stiff? New as I am to garment sewing, it might be good. And yes, let me know if you blog about it!
