Oh Diana, tell me you tidied the embroidery thread for the photo and that it isn't like that all the time! By the way, do you use a hoop or just hold the fabric in your hands when you work your magic?
And the tree . . . stunning photo! The colours and patterns!

hahaha, Wendy. I tidied the floss and thought "Quick! Take a photo!" I use a hoop if only working one layer of fabric. If there are 2-3 layers, I don't use anything. Looking up at those trees blows my mind. I thought of what Georgia O'Keefe said about the sun taking a bite out of it.

Your embroidery is beautiful. Have you ever thought about doing a pay tutorial and showing us how you accomplish your work and how you get your ideas.

Regarding the floss, I am breathing a sigh of relief. I have a very nice pinot gris here and I am raising my glass to you!

Thanks, Barb. I'm teaching my first stitch class in NYC next month. I'm sure at some point there will be something or other online.

Really? You don't know me better than that? I will tip a glass in your direction as well

There's always a slim chance I'll make an error of judgement and I made one already this year so I'm not as perfect as I thought . . . hahaha! Cheers! (Not quite yet though as I've just had breakfast!)
