It was too cold too do much of anything this weekend. Snowy and blustery and sub-zero wind chills.
Let's make diffusers! All you need are some inexpensive items:
Jars, Bamboo Skewers, a nipper to cut the skewers about 2x's the height of your container, mineral oil (available from the drugstore), vodka. and essential oils. You can get a scent you love at the health food store.
The oils are pricey but it only takes a few drops and they last forever. Note on bottles: the neck should be smaller but I just used what I had. Mason jars would work fine.
Super easy! Do your research on the oils. I think Eucalyptus is a cleaner and air de-germer. I know Lavender relaxes you so that's good in the bedroom.
Go wild and mix a few. Peppermint-Orange? Rose-Grapefruit? It takes a little while for the scented oil to creep up the sticks so be patient. I think the reeds here might be more efficient (less dense). I had skewers on hand. Let me know if you try the reeds.
I think there's an old rattan blind in the shed that is about to give up some of it's length. I'm a sucker for almond and vanilla . . . not necessarily together though.

Rattan, yes. That is what the sticks at Amazon are made out of . I just ordered them because the skewers are way too dense. Your blind should be perfect!

Great! I’m not so sure about the skewers. I think the bamboo is too dense. I just ordered some reeds from Amazon. Good sniffs in your house and mine.
