My business plan for the coming year has been elusive. Everything has changed so I needed to adjust things. I will be doing some local shows, teaching from my studio and online at Curious. I've been feeling a little confused and overwhelmed so, yeah. One thing remains the same.
My Mission Statement.
Great things are happening!
So clear.

It does help with everything else. Keeps me on track.

You have (gained wisdom) and you do (pass it on) so mission accomplished! It must be around 5 years ago that I found your blog and bought your book . . . it led to a whole lot of mucking around that I could never have envisaged. Now that I'm a full time Mucker, perhaps I need to write something as clear. What am I about? What do I hope to achieve?

5 years! Wow. The Mission Statement is helpful to me in terms of my business plan. Keeps me on track. But then again, so does my internal moral compass (as, I’m sure, does yours.)

I'm such a dabbler Diana, flitting from one thing to another and while I can do a reasonable job I'd like to be good at something over and above all the others . . . to feel accomplished instead of 'almost there' I guess but maybe that's what keeps us all going, the search for that feeling of a job well done at the moment of completion . . . and then we do it again in search of that high. I need to focus or I'll just fly around in circles like a catherine wheel!
I think there's a blog post in the offing. ('Offing' . . . funny word that, there is no 'oning')

lol, ot offing mafia-style. Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I am constantly learning something new and pushing my skills. I’ll always be reaching further in terms of painting and drawing and that is one of the things I love best about them!

I keep coming back to textiles in some form . . . and I did end up blogging about the issue but ended up with more questions than answers!
