#LoveSummerArt, Day 3
Three cheers for summer flowers! I love 'em: smelling, looking, watching them sway in the breeze, painting and drawing. How 'bout you?
In today's video I'm using Inktense (or watercolor) pencils and water soluble markers: Distress, Tombow and the new Zig Clean Color Markers. Together they make a bit of magic. Since the watercolor pencils are soluble and the markers are wet, well they are a good couple.
I come in at the end with a brand new product call Color Burst by Ken Oliver (linked below via Ellen Hutson). They are superfine pigment powders that react with water. I suppose they could be added to any base matrix. I seem to recall using pigments to create oil colors in school. Anyhoo! They sure are a blast.
Just watched all of your summer art videos, LOVE them & thank you. I am off this week from work and I am going to play. You are very inspiring. I need to create a portable basket of stuff like you so I can carry around the house. I don't have a lot of space & sometimes this prevents me from dabbling & creating. Your tips are very helpful.

Oooo! Stay and play-cation :) It is really difficult to know which supplies you really do and don’t need. This is one of the things that I’d like to address more and more! Thanks for commenting and enjoy your week off.
