Thanks for stopping by for Day One of #LoveSummerArt on YouTube. All you need to do is type that into the search engine (at YouTube) and a nice long list of vids will appear for your viewing pleasure.
I was going to show a picture of the thre huge bins of paper in the classroom side of my studio but REALLY? you've seen it before.
I keep all of this "stuff" that comes into my life: old books, papers, maps, sheet music, etc. in big plastic bins. I just stuff those great big ziplock bags with as much as they can take and keep the bags in the bins. When I have a class or need some more fodder for myself, I grab a bag and sort, cut, punch and throw a bunch away.
In the studio, things are a little different. These are papers that I make and use for specific projects. Although there's some "stuff" in there too. You can read that post here.
I love using punches to make usable pieces for my journal. Some stuff is left in big pieces to cover an entire page (or painting) too. Here is an affiliate list of my favorite punches. I don't have them all but someday! I really like the EK Success brand because they have a great profile for storage and work very well. I've collected most of my punches with my Big Box Store coupon. But I appreciate your using my links!
