Did you hear me woo-hoo'ing? I was very excited to find a tube of Golden's QoR watercolor INDIGO :) in my ArtSnacks box this month. Oh my goodness.
I fell in love with Indigo during my eco dye obsession some time back. I've had this QoR Indigo in my DickBlick cart for some time now but, really!, how am I supposed to justify two tubes of Indigo watercolor? Even if they are different. (I love the Daniel Smith too.)
I'm singing the praises of the Princeton fake sable #6 round too. I filled it with paint and water and it lasted about a third again the length of my cheaper #6 round. There was a miniature pad of Yupo Paper in the box too. TonsO'Fun. Check out the linked videos on YouTube for more of my Yupo videos.
I've been out of The Masters brush soap for ages so it was nice to have a little bit of that again. It's good stuff. Especially if you are using nice brushes. Murphy's oil soap works very well too, though.
I have another video coming in a couple of days but here is the unboxing for you ... Supply links below. If you have an extra minute, hit the YouTube button on the bottom of the image below and subscribe and like on YouTube. Every subbie helps :)

So interesting to see the difference in the Indigo between the two companies. I see a little more of what I think of as ultramarine blue in the QOR and more prussian blue in the Daniel Smith. I think it's similar to the Windsor & Newton Indigo shade. I'd love to see them side by side by side!
It's really fun getting the vicarious thrill of opening a box of new supplies!
