I became obsessed over the weekend after watching a YouTube video (I'll link it below). It was just the perfect light-hearted project.
Paint some flower shapes, outline them with pencil, pen, glitter, shiny pens - I just used my favorite materials. I spent some time on it on Saturday, Sunday and today.
I made some leafy shapes, some feathers and some clouds.
'm
I'm waiting for them to dry so I can cut them out and use them on this and that: journals, cards, Teddy, whatever. And that's why I'm so late blogging today. I was shooting some video for a new class (!) and then I needed to make these little drawings and from there I went on to practice painting clouds.
I love my Craft Therapy and when I find my schedule again - my rhythm, really - I'm hoping to make it a feature here on the blog. Would you like that? What kinds of things would you like to see? Last week got a little crazy when my auntie went into the hospital. The family immediately came up with a plan to take care of her but it was incredible upsetting. She's kind of my rock. My example, my friend, role model and we laugh a lot together. I love her.
I needed my Craft Therapy.
My Open Studio on Saturday went swimmingly well. It was a blast really. I have another this Saturday and then I'll be doing this monthly. I'll try to remember to take pictures.
Here's Roxy's video. It's quite long (I skipped around a bit.) Enjoy
Who needs Calgon when we have craft therapy! Hope your auntie is more comfortable and feels better soon!❤️

Roxyfur has a shorter video of the process - only 25 minutes.
