Art Journaling is one of the things I've not done enough of lately. If you are new to art journaling, this may all be a bit bewildering so I made another video for you. It's linked below.
This little journal is so much fun. So many of you have commented that you are doing the same. Tag me on FB if you post anything. I'm not on social media that much these days. Except YouTube and here. But if you tag me I'll get it.
I got myself into a bit of a pickle with this page by gluing in the letters down and then covering them up with tissue. LOL. You'll see in the video. It's good to work yourself out of a corner. It stretches your Figure It Out muscle. So to speak. I've had those alphabet dies from Altenew on my wishlist for a long time and am glad I splurged. Does anyone have recommendations for other letter/number dies? I was look at Tim Holtz.
I wound up using paint and bits and pieces that were within my reach for this page. I keep a little basket on my desk and throwing scraps and such into that.

Went a bit mad with the sequins here. That's not exactly a "tasteful" amount but isn't it enormous fun!
Here are some affiliate links. I get a % of sale with no cost to you. Use What You Have.
Joggles.com for Gelatos (and the groovy tissue they use to wrap orderes in)
Here are Gelatos at Scrapbook.com
I used Altenew's Bold Alphabet Dies here at Scrapbook.com
Here are letter stickers at Scrapbook. I like the larger ones because I can trim them down here and there. They have the Nuvo mouses there too. Those are pretty fun to use.
You did a good job getting yourself out of the "pickle" you got yourself into......LOL. Not sure if I am seeing things correctly, but isn't your U upside down?........looks like another N to me. That is something I would do. And, by the way........I love the sequins and those letters...

I sure did misspell January :) Didn’t even notice till it was on YT. Sequins Rule. The more the better.

"Stretching your figure it out muscle" ... I LOVE that! thanks for the inspiration Diana, Jannary looks great all sequined up! I like how you added patterns to the alpha letters, a great way to add another bit of interest to a smaller space. You are so clever and creative :) tfs
