Valentine's Day snuck up on me this year. That means another bonus Friday video for you all :) I wanted to get this idea for making small notes out to you for the weekend.
It's such fun playing with pretty papers from the Simon kit but you could go around the corner to your craft store (or dig into your stash) and find plenty of stuff to make cards like these. So channel your inner 12 year old and let's play.
I pulled some ink colors that matched the dec paper but you could just write a note inside. Keep Is Simple. The only messy thing was the glitter glue. But c'mon! It's Valentine's Day. I used Liquitex Gloss & Mat Medium (DickBlick below). Glossy glues like the Glossy Accents are great for gluing shiny stuff because it intensifies the sparkle. The Liquitex is so much cheaper and a great product.
I love kits. They make crafty so easy. I keep an eye on Simon's and Hero Arts kits. I don't subscribe though. They are great little stash builders for new stampers.
I hope you enjoy today's video.

Jon popped into the studio in the middle of filming and playing all dressed up for the Eagles parade. Speaking of our inner 12 year olds.
Have a great weekend, gang. I'm looking forward to Open Studio tomorrow!
Super card! I hope the parade was good. I think it was pretty cold!

What cute little cards! I have never seen anyone do that with glitter before.....what a great tip! Hope your Open Studio goes well. I bet Jon had a fun time.......he looks ready and raring to go.........LOL I am so glad I don't have to deal with the cold like you guys have. It generally does get a little cold here, but we are having unseasonably warm weather now. My body does better in the warmer weather so that is why I like it. Have a great weekend and stay warm!
