Flipping through some hand-me-down stamps, I came upon this cloud stamp and it spoke to me. The weather here has been dismal: rain, snow, warm one day and cold the next. Ugh. It doesn't feel like spring. I did a little catch-up journal flip at the end of the video. I always think that being in a bad mood is perfectly ok. Feeling overwhelmed is only natural.
I just go with it and take a little time to treat myself well. More often than not, that's all we really need.
I pulled out some embossing powders from WOW and went to town with this page. I'd previously dunk my little journal into a puddle of Distress Oxide inks and the muted tones went perfectly.
You can see some of those Heart Throb WOW EP powder speckles. I like the way they look. To get this look, dampen your page with a spritz of water and then sprinkle a pink of EP on top. Heat the page from the back to emboss. It may take a little longer.
I highly recommend the Wagner Heat Gun. It's the best on the market and when you pre-heat it (30+seconds) before using, it embosses super fast so your paper won't warp. I've had mine for at least 20 years and it's still going strong.

Shop at Ellen Hutson here. Great service and products. I really love how fast they ship.
I'm collecting the Wasabi and So Matcha Release by Julie Ebersole, drooling over the Alexandra Renke products.
