Hey friends, today's video is a little different from the usual. It's longer and unedited. Sort of stream-of-conscious but possibly not up to James Joyce's standards. Here is the finished page. Looking at it, I'm wondering if it's finished. The thought process is finished but there are a couple of areas that are bothering me.

These are all pages in my Dina Wakely art journal. Black, white and burlap
A watercolored background with a story from my childhood. That's one of Tim Holtz found relatives.
Playing with watercolor and brushes. If you are going to abuse the Dina journal, gesso first.
I've been working a lot with my watercolors lately. Sketching and painting.
I'll probably noodle with this a little more before I say "finished."
I like to buy my art supplies from Joggles.com (affiliate link: I get a commission with no cost to you) and from my local art supply shop Allegheny Art in Jenkintown. Both of these shops are women-owned, small business. I like to support them.
Love your pages and seeing your process! I’ve been thinking a lot lately about curiosity/imagination and how it affects progress in art and science, so I agree with you about math and the sciences. I also love Einstein’s remarks about how imagination fuels discovery, making it more important than knowledge!

Oh yes! That’s right :) I love Einstein. What a cool dude. Creativity is really everything (imho) because that’s what makes us ask the questions. Hey, did you see that Genius series on Nat Geo? I missed Einstein’s last year but Picasso is on now.
